I cannot tell you how happy I am that Spring is finally here! If it were up to me, we’d have about 2 weeks of “chilly” weather right in time for Christmas, and then it would go back to being “beach” weather again! We’ve been busy welcoming Spring into the Speech room the past few weeks with Spring Speech Crafts and a great new book. Our Pre-K theme was “Growing and Changing” which fit in perfectly with Spring time. See what we’ve been up to below!

Just curious, I'm currently a college freshman and I'm about 98% sure that I want to be a SLP. I would like to transfer to UGA next year, and have Valdosta be my back-up school. I prefer UGA because I live in Cobb County, and I would like to occasionally come home.

Hi! You're definitely thinking about becoming a part of a great major! I'm very familiar with both the VSU and UGA speech programs. Send me an email to: whit.smith.1987@gmail.com and I'll be happy to answer any specific questions you have about the programs and give you some tips on the info I know.
Thanks! 🙂

Like the cute caterpillars on leaves. I also like the butterfly idea. I worked with an OT who put colored gel soap in baggies…this was to be the wings (the kids could add glitter and stickers to it), closed them with packing tape and used the pipe cleaners and clothes pins for antennas and body on butterfly. Same premise but it was pretty cool to send the kids home with a nice sensory art project! Love all the sprint ideas!!! Thanks for sharing 🙂
