Ice Cream Books For Speech Therapy
- Gorilla Loves Vanilla, by Chae Strathie and Nicola O’Byrne– **This book is currently out of stock on Amazon, but I linked the author reading it!** One of my new favorite books ever, this book is all about animals and their favorite types of ice cream!
- Ice Cream Summer, by Peter Sis– This is such a cute story about a little boy’s summertime adventures, including ice cream!
- Ice Cream, by Briar Wilton– This is a very short and adorable book about friends sharing ice cream scoops!
- Curious About Ice Cream, by Bonnie Bader– This book gives lots of detailed, factual information about ice cream, including real pictures. The information is a bit more in-depth though, so it’s better for older students.
- Ice Cream, the Full Scoop, by Gail Gibbons– Any book by Gail Gibbons is amazing! Like all of her books, this one is full of factual information on this history of ice cream! I made a quick comprehension freebie for it! It also includes pictured-instructions for making homemade ice cream in a plastic bag, which is a perfect following direction extension activity to do with an ice cream theme! 6. Milk to Ice Cream, by Lisa M. Herrington– If you’re looking for a simple story that explains how ice cream is made, this book is perfect. It includes real pictures as well!
