With the last week before Halloween in full swing, it’s getting spooky in speech! This week was all about witches! Check out our Witches in the Speech Room below!
We used a witch craftivity from Crazy Speech World to work on writing and following directions. I loved seeing the students’ personalities come out in their witches!
We brainstormed things to put in a witch’s brew that have “r” in them for my “r” speech groups! Some of the things they thought of are so gross!
We used Speech Time Fun’s Good Witch vs. Bad Witch activity freebie in my social groups!
We used loads of awesome Halloween books for speech and language. Room on the Broom and Turkey Trick or Treat are my favorites! Click here for a blog post on my favorite Halloween books for speech therapy!
Also, did you know that if you dress up like book characters when reading the books that your students will LOVE it and stay engaged the entire time? Seriously. I’m living proof!
My Pre-K teacher and SLP counterparts dressed up with me for the Halloween parade…Our school mascot is the Eagles!

Friday, the Halloween decorations came down and the Thanksgiving decorations went up!
